The Friesian is a graceful horse with a proud attitude. Friesians have powerful, sloping shoulders, compact muscular bodies with strong, sloping hindquarters and low-set tails. A Friesian horse also has a long, thick mane and tail, often wavy, and silky hair on the lower legs. The Friesian has short, pointed, ears. His neck is high, long and slightly bent.
